Job Description
Sunbury company in need of Sales Assistant:
Position details:
Prepare, enter and coordinator orders and forecasts with sales personnel, warehouse department and the customer to ensure proper handling thereby providing good customer service.
Enter customer orders in a timely manner Enter orders to fulfill customer requirements.
Prepare customer forecast with sales manager, sales rep and sales assistant Enter orders into the computer and the issuance of pick sheets with delivery dates.
Prepare all delivery schedules and pick sheet release to ensure timely delivery to warehouse Enter orders into the computer and the issuance of pick sheets with delivery dates.
Prepare the critical parts list to expedite parts to fill customer orders Submit list to departments which need expedited.
Learn EDI enter EDI activities.
Review backorders on daily basis to insure proper shipment to customer Review backorders and release pick notes as product arrives.
Assist all sales personnel.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports as requested by supervisor.
Answer calls from customers to insure proper handling of orders and resolve problems to customer satisfaction.
Six months to one year in customer service position.
Must have direct customer contact, order entry.
Some MRP background preferred
PC experiences a must
Excel experience required
