Department: Test
Job Title: Technician
Pay: $17 or more based on experience
SUMMARY:
Perform visual inspection, testing, programming, hand soldering, assembly, repair and rework of printed circuit boards and/or other electronic devices and components to assure proper function of final product assemblies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Use bills of materials, schematics, engineering documentation, test fixtures, and other electronic measurement equipment and tools to inspect, test and verify electronic assemblies.
Record resulting data in ERP system and other reports.
Read blueprints and/or diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met.
Maintains required records of production and reports any inconsistencies or equipment issues following standard procedures.
Experience of troubleshooting circuit boards helpful.
Other duties as assigned.
HIGHLIGHTED REQUIREMENTS:
An associate s degree or 1-3 years or related experience
All applicants will be required to complete an aptitude test
Must have a good knowledge of circuit boards and components
Attention to detail is a must with good mechanical aptitude
Be able to visually inspect and handle small items for accuracy including manual dexterity
Ability to file in numerical sequence with basic computer skills
Be able to lift up 25 lbs
