Job Description

Currently, we are assisting a local client in recruiting for a Shipping/Receiving Clerk job in Lancaster, OH. These opportunities will allow you to enhance your career while gaining valuable experience.
Detailed Job Description:
Prepare completed product for delivery or pickup according to schedule in accordance with finished goods work instructions or best practices
Generate accurate shipping documents and tracking information
Communicate with Quality and Production on a routine basis to ensure alignment of priorities
Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
Provide feedback and input to finished goods work instructions to support continual improvement
Schedule non-standard carriers (FedEx, Courier, Etc.) in support of shipping requirements
Utilize MRP Systems for production orders and warehouse shipments as required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
High attention to detail
* Inventory
* Experience in warehouse setting preferable
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good computer skills - use of MS Word, Excel.
Candidate will demonstrate ability to prioritize and plan work in accordance with given schedules
Candidate should require minimal supervision
Candidate shall be able to routinely move 25-30 pound boxes
EDUCATION
High School required
Hours:
Monday Friday 7: 30AM-4: 00PM
**Mandatory 6 extra hours a week. Can be spread out over the week or can come in on a Saturday and do the whole 6 hours. This position may be required to stay late even when overtime is not mandatory.
Payrate: $17 per hour
