Job Description
Carey Ohio company in need of Team Lead
Job Description
The Team lead's responsibilities are to complete customer orders in a timely manner making sure parts are complete and correct to what that customer is requesting.
Primary Responsibilities
Create orders, print labels, reprint and serial look up on HMES and Excel
HPLM Look up part print
Look up build of materials (BOM) on SAP
Look up BOM on IRIS
Ability to read build of materials and prints of parts
Set up transportation for completed service parts to customer
Obtain releases from customer websites
Assist supervisor in ensuring security of the facilities during designated shift hours
Highlight areas of concern associated with inventory problems and communicate facts to supervisor any property loss, damage, destruction of inventory/materials
Familiar with location of material in order to locate and count inventory in timely manner as needed
Operate a forklift and possibly work at height
Ensures compliance to inventory processes and procedures
Track and report non-conforming product
Follow safety policies and procedures
Additional duties as may be assigned
Suggest and implement cost saving ideas
Load and unload items from carts and dollies as needed
Basic data entry skills for recording data to various reporting applications
Ability to stand for 8+ hours a day and lift up to 25 lbs
Performs other duties assigned by Supervisor and/or Manager, which may be outside the scope of responsibilities noted above
Strong leadership skills and the ability to work independently without supervision
Years of Experience
1 year of experience in manufacturing
Degree Preferred
High School with Diploma.
Desired Competencies, Experience, & Qualifications
Experience using SAP
Experience in manufacturing processes, productivity, and scheduling activities
Microsoft Office
Strong communication, organization skills
Strong problem solving and analysis skills
Ability to understand customer demand and how MP&L effects production to meet demand
