Job Description
Acloche has a Grove City Logistics Company looking for a Receiving Clerk! We are looking for highly skilled candidates.
Shift: 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday
Pay: starting at $19/hr
Purpose: Responsible for distribution of Export documents according to instructions from the supervisor. Ensure accuracy and compliance to instructions.
Essential Duties:
Preparation of Export shipments and distribution of Export documents.
Coordination and communication with clients such as trucking companies, airlines, brokers, customers as well as with other branches and departs.
Handle billing & accounts receivable
Technical:
Prepare Export shipments for assigned customers including customers clearance, shipping, labeling, and distribution of cargo. Generate delivery orders and shipping labels as needed.
Prepare Export documents for distribution to brokerage dept. And/or customers' broker.
Coordinate pick up and delivery orders with clients in order to obtain necessary information in order to process shipments in the best way.
Provide customer service through direct contact with customers.
Communicate with other branches and depts, filing and data entry.
Issue freight bills and invoices to brokers and responsible for collecting unpaid invoices within credit term.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
MS Excel experience required
1-2 years of freight forwarding industry experience
Analytical skills (familiar with logistics and planning concepts)
Strong computers skills including data entry and working knowledge of computer application technology
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be flexible for work weekends & holidays
