Job Description
Acloche is hiring for a great company on the West Columbus area! Fire Truck company seeking a Paintline in Hilliard.
Schedule: 7: 00a-3: 30p Monday-Friday
Pay:$20/hr
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Paints fire truck vehicles and other products with the use of different color paints and materials using paint sprayers and brushes
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Remove dust and other debris from surfaces in preparation for paint application, using abrasives, solvents, brushes, blowtorches, washing tanks, or sandblasters.
Mask or tape off details and components that are not to be painted.
Fill cavities and dents to create an even surface.
Sand, fill and chisel vehicle as part of its preparation.
Select proper colors and substances for the project.
Determine the necessary application of paint for a thorough coat.
Check for runs or sags in the paint to ensure a quality product.
Pour paint into spray guns and adjust nozzles and paint mixtures for proper paint flow and coating thickness.
Disassemble, clean, and reassemble sprayers and power equipment, using solvents, wire brushes, and cloths for cleaning duties.
Paint parts when necessary.
Communicate with supervisors, employees, and other building departments any issue(s) related to performing the duties of this position.
Comply with organizations specific policies and procedures and safety and health standards including housekeeping standards.
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Some Press Brake Experience, preferably on a CNC controlled press brake, Trumpf equipment experience preferred.
Able to read and interpret documents furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, quality manuals and procedure manuals.
