Job Description
The Material Handler is personally responsible for the effective management of raw materials and finished goods through physical and database methods to maintain levels required by production on a daily basis to meet demands. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
Tasks/ Responsibilities including but not limited to:
Enter data for quantities of materials issued and transferred between locations, inventory and cycle counts.
Pull, stage and move material into the appropriate areas and machines for production.
Properly count, bin and put away materials.
Respond to the various departments within the organization who may need information regarding vendors, products,
deliveries, etc.
Receive and issue finished goods into computer database.
Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies with manufacturing and inspection personnel.
Prepare and participate in yearly physical inventory.
Skills and Abilities:

Education and Experience
A high school diploma or a GED.
One or more years of related experience and/or training.
Forklift Operator Certification
