1st shift: 7am-3pm Monday-Friday
Job Title: Building Maintenance Technician
Pay Rate: $15-23/hr based on exp
SUMMARY:
Perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes. Perform general, routine, and emergency machine, electric, building preventative maintenance and grounds keeping.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility s equipment. Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
Perform major and minor mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and installation and repair of production machines.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities including burner cleaning and shot blast upkeep.
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties. Air tool repair.
Replace worn or damaged parts such as hoses, wiring, and belts.
Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions, including but not limited to, painting interior and exterior walls and trim, HVAC and HVAC filter replacement, plumbing, lighting, moving and storage.
Perform grounds keeping functions, including but not limited to, snow removal for parking lots and sidewalks and asphalt patchwork.
Provide coverage for 2nd and 3rd shift maintenance personnel (if applicable).
Other duties as assigned.
Highlighted Requirements:
Must have good mechanical aptitude - someone who has worked on cars would be a good fit.
Experience ordering/identifying parts is a plus.
Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions, including but not limited to, painting interior and exterior walls and trim, HVAC and HVAC filter replacement, plumbing, lighting, moving and storage.
Intermediate computer skills, organizational skills and ability to communicate well with others.
