Job Description
Safety:
First level of authority of all internal shift operatois to act, stop, restrict, and prevent unsafe practices or conditions.
Act/perform building security duties as defined and scheduled
Report perceived safety isssues to proper authority
Performed lock-out/tag-out per company policy and procedure.
General Duties:
Journeyman-For any machine or piece of equiipment at the assigned location.
Independently problem solve, trouble shoot, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronic systems, using logic and the
interrelationships of these combined systems.
Perform troubleshooting, problem solving in a timely manner, arriving at root causes, and applying true corrective actions.
Reading and complete understanding of prints and schematics, such that logic of schematics is followed to a conclusion.
Design, modify, purchase, construct, and operate any piece of machinerery or equipment.
Perform complex repairs to all identified problems.
Design, set-up, administrate and perform preventative maintenance.
Complete knowledge of and ability to use all required measuring tools and instruments.
A-Maintenance:
Problem solve, rouble shoot, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronic systems using logic and common sense experience.
Perform troubleshooting and problem solving in a timely manner, by seeking out help when required.
Reading and partial understanding of prints, schematics and teh relationships between; mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Purchase, construct, modify and operate machines and equipment as required.
Perform repairs to identified problems.
Participate in set-up, administrate and perform preventative maintenance.
Knowledge of and ability to use specific measuring tools and instruments.
B-Maintenance:
Basic understanding of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
Basic understanding of the relationships of these systems.
Basic construction, assembly of equipment following directions, prints and specifications and building maintenance.
Perform prevenative maintenance.
Use of basic measuring tools.
