Delaware company in need of Maintenance Technicians
The Maintenance Technician position will support manufacturing operations on E Shift (Fri. Mon. 3 p.M. 1 a.M.) Maintenance Tech job duties would include the preventive maintenance and repairing and maintaining equipment and machinery and evaluating maintenance needs and problems and making recommendations concerning a course of action. This individual will work closely with Engineering, Production and Quality Assurance teams on a daily basis.
The Maintenance Technician will troubleshoot, repairs, and verifies repairs were effective on building equipment, manufacturing machines and support equipment.
Follows established set-up procedures
Installs molds, dies, or trimming devices into presses
Reworks molds as required to meet form, function, or print specifications
Set-up and tear down related racks, boards, fixtures, and miscellaneous equipment related to dies and presses
Inspects fixtures, tools, and gages to ensure suitability for use
Verifies first piece production meets required specifications
Qualifications: Preferred skills include:
High school diploma or GED is required
Multiyear experience in general maintenance position is preferred or graduation from a manufacturing maintenance training program
Experienced in equipment controls and plc troubleshooting, industrial 480V electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding.
Good communication skills
Basic Computer knowledge
