Job Description
Recruiting - HR Administrative Coordinator
Pay based on experience -
***MUST HAVE EXCELLENT MS Office skills - Extensive Excel and PowerPoint will be working with VP's and Senior Managers - could be facilitating presentations for upper leadership teams!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (to include, but not limited to):
? Coordinate new hire onboarding activities for Associate s first 90 days
? Maintain I-9 process including verification and filing to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
? Maintain internal posting process
? Conduct phone screens, interviews and offer all open hourly positions to quality candidates
? Conduct pre-employment screenings
? Compile and report data in regarding to recruitment and trends (i.E. Weekly Req Report, Orientation List, etc.)
? Maintain Associate Referral Program and YMCA invoicing processes
? Positively support business plan goals
? Perform the following functions as well as mentor, coach and lead associates:
? Ensure compliance with laws and regulations
? Exhibit safety awareness and competence with attention to detail
? Communicate and serve as a role model for policies and procedures enforcement
? Conduct training for management on new initiatives
? Support and serve as a role model for KPI s of Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Morale and Environment
? Demonstrate and serve as a role model for Respect for the Individual at all times
? Maintain professional and consistent Open Communication with all levels of the organization, communicating with diverse groups of people and ensuring understanding
? Demonstrate and serve as a role model for a Challenging Spirit and Innovation by continuous improvement in daily processes using PDCA cycles
? Demonstrate and serve as a role model for Timely, Informed Decision Making by utilizing genba practices and efficiently gathering information to make decisions that protect the organization and ensure fair treatment of Associates
o Solve problems and resolve issues/concerns in a timely manner. Apply preventative measures
? Maintain a customer service focus, ensuring and protecting our customer s best interest
? Other Duties as assigned by Leadership
? Lead continuous improvement activity of recruitment practices
? Work to meet customer s expectations and fulfill their needs maintaining communication and good rapport
? Policy enforcement and interpretation as needed
? Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information and sustains trust with peers and customers
? Participating and/or facilitating HR or related projects
? Support leadership with other assigned duties and tasks
PERIODIC JOB FUNCTIONS (to include, but not limited to):
? Attend career fairs and recruitment events
? Verify and log corrective actions in the HRIS system
? Basic understanding of leave of absences (FMLA, STD, etc.)
? Assist with development and maintenance of interview guides
? Assist with ISO compliance for the department
? Act as the company representative in the Peer Review process
? Assist in preparations with orientations
? Monthly reporting of SQCDME characteristics as needed
? Employment verifications as needed
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED
? Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an HR role or equivalent experience
? Excellent communication, both verbal and written, as well as organizational skills
? Ability to prioritize and multi-task
? Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
? Ability to interact professionally within the company and with the customer
? Must be flexible to work different hours as needed by the department/business
? Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office programs (i.E., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
? Knowledge and understanding of federal, state HR regulations
? Able to lift 40lbs continuously
