Customer Service Representative needed for Carey facility.
Job Description
Responsible for all activities related to transactions, orders, transportations and inquires of customer needs. Position also requires to meet the needs of the company and may require individuals to perform other functions.
Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for supervising activities related to the planning of logistical processes for outbound, such as calculating adequate inventory levels
Prepare Forecast according to customer demand so that the company can analyze its capacity, machines, people and stock
Negotiation of shipments with customers, according to systems (EDI, Site and Kanban)
Managing all customer metrics, delivery performance, ASN, collection schedule and delivery tracking to the customer
Support of weekend coverage for assembly plants
EHS: Follow all procedures and instructions that are applicable for the respective workplace or relevant EH&S activity
Years of Experience
Two years experience in material planning/scheduling or customer service experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
Degree Preferred
Bachelor degree in field related with production and inventory control and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
Desired Competencies, Experience, & Qualifications
Experience using SAP required
Experience using MRP/ERP system-SAP preferred
Experience in managing manufacturing processes, productivity, and efficiency requirements as related to scheduling activities
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Strong communication, organization skills
Strong problem solving and analysis skills
Ability to understand customer demand and how to alter production to meet demand as well as an ability to manage complexity and resolve conflicts that arise from balancing multiple priorities
Strong knowledge of shipping & receiving functions including international freight
Previous automotive is a plus, but not necessary
