Job Description
Acloche is hiring for a Fire Truck Body Assembler at a Fire Truck Company in Hilliard!
The hours are 7am-330pm, Monday-Friday.
Pay: $20/hr
SUMMARY
Prepares upper and lower assembles and sub frames for first responder vehicles. Install and connect truck bodies, hydraulic compartments and sub frames by use of hand and air tools.
Individuals must have the ability to read and interpret work orders and blueprints. Must have solid assembly experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Some experience in vehicle electrical installations along with welding experience is a plus.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Assemble Sub-frame.
Assemble jack tubes.
Install hydraulic compartment, floors and steps.
Install generator.
Install upper assembly and steps.
Install water tank.
Maneuver and make the necessary adjustments for ladder brackets.
Install cradle.
Fabricate and install front and rear header.
Install hose bed compartment and dividers.
Set and mount body on vehicle.
Install water tank and cradle.
Torque bolts to specifications.
Paint parts when necessary.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Mechanically inclined
