Warehouse Supervisor

Job Purpose: Supervises, coordinates, trains and/or performs the receiving, shipping and material handling responsibilities in the Shipping/Receiving, Warehouse and Inventory Control areas

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Directs warehouse and materials personnel. Responsible for organizing warehouse and inventory locations as well as monitoring all inventory
Responsible for all job orders being picked to schedule, the company cycle count program and movement of materials in and out of facility
Coordinates freight movement and carrier selection and negotiates contracts with freight carriers to reduce costs
Participates in the Engineering Change process (ECO) to ensure the proper disposition of material, as well as works with purchasing on supplier stocking program
Ensures all materials are packed properly and audits incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy
Coordinates with Sales, Manufacturing & Engineering to ensure highest level of customer service and on-time delivery are maintained
Coordinates transportation logistics and troubleshoots all receiving and shipping complaints to find the cause, help resolve the issue and prevent reoccurrence
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with ESD, PPE procedures, work rules, and regulations
Operate per established Company Policies and Procedures
Other tasks as assigned by Management

Associates degree or equivalent experience in a related position
Minimum of 5 years experience in a Warehouse environment with electro-mechanical manufacturing experienced required.
Minimum of 3 years experience in Supervisory role
Working knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100 & 6S
Ability to work effectively in an office, laboratory, and manufacturing environment
Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
Organizational skills, time management skills, good verbal and written communication skills
Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
Knowledge of Basic Computer Usage and Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel)
Familiarity with MRP systems
Knowledge of shipping/receiving
Familiarity with material handling principles/techniques a plus
