The Training Specialist will have primary oversight in managing the utilization and effectiveness of platform and all of its associated educational content. In addition, he/she will work closely with the Director of Talent Development, volunteer committees and other stakeholders to identify, develop, and implement high quality and profitable educational products, programs, and services for the benefit of member company personnel. The specialist will have some accountability for increasing member engagement with Talent services, and will serve as the primary point of contact for the LMS platform. The Training Specialist must have proven program management and project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks. Experience collaborating across a team and bringing projects to fruition is a must. Client is predominantly a North American trade association with international members representing wholesale distributors of heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration equipment and supplies. With a membership of over 1, 000 distributors, manufacturers, marketing groups, and service vendors, client is a diverse organization that exists to promote and strengthen the HVACR wholesale distribution channel.
? Content Management, Sourcing & Development
o Perform needs analysis to understand the training needs of members.
o Source third-party content to benefit members
o Develop original course content to benefit members
o Maintain and update existing courses/curriculum
o Explore and develop education deliverables in new formats (podcasts, videos, etc)
? Member Outreach and Education Sales/Setup:
o Conduct member outreach and build relationships with members
o Conduct program/system demonstrations for members
o Conduct sales and orientation webinars
o Work with marketing department to communicate Talent programs
? Manage LMS and Education Administration
o Manage certification processes
o Manage all course enrollment, student records, and related education activities
o Manage all LMS reporting and tracking
o Develop program improvements geared toward customer satisfaction, cost
reductions, and operational efficiency
The specialist must have a willingness and ability to work with multiple constituencies in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, with excellent customer service, organization and event management skills. Organization and attention to detail are essential.
Undergraduate Degree and minimum of 3 years experience in a training and development role.
