Job Description

A large retailer is seeking Stock Pickers for their logistics division in the Reynoldsburg area.

Schedule: FIRST DAY ONLY IS ON TUESDAY. Sunday-Thursday 9: 30pm-5: 30am. Overtime required as needed and some Friday nights.

EQUIPMENT OPERATOR BONUS - Once equipment certified, associates are eligible for a one-time $300 bonus

Stock Picker:

Equipment: Raymond Cherry Picker

Individual contributor responsible for operating a forklift to unload cartons from semi-trailers, move carton/products throughout the distribution center and load cartons onto semi-trailers. Spends at least 80% of working hours operating power equipment. Ability to be trained to operate power equipment. Stock Pickers safely operate stand-up forklift equipment, stocking and retrieving cases of product from high bay storage areas. These positions require continuous lifting of packages weighing 50-75+ pounds. Stock Picker are required to wear fall protection equipment and perform job duties at heights of 30-feet or greater. Associates are required to meet accuracy and production standards. Training is provided. Stock Picker may also lift and stack merchandise onto/off conveyor lines, semi-trailers, pallets or other storage containers and racks with the Distribution Center.

Must possess the ability to:
Comprehend and follow written, verbal and computer delivered direction.
Utilize math skills to verify quantities, make adjustments, fill out worksheets and complete order paperwork correctly.

Operate Warehouse Management System (WMS), radio frequency scanners, and other equipment needed to perform job duties.
Solid attention to detail, ability to follow directions and apply problem solving skills
Ability to identify product and match numbers.
Ability to operate forklifts, stand-up forklifts, order selectors, and other equipment.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to successfully complete power equipment training.
Valid Driver s License with good driving record DMV check required.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. 50% of the working hours; lifting may be above or below shoulder level.
Ability to stand continuously for long periods of time, up to 10 hours per day.
Ability to push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel, and stoop on a repetitive basis.
Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity to include grasping and holding.
Ability to function at high levels as required.
Comply with all safety, hazardous material and OSHA training, rules, and reporting; ensuring a safe work environment.
Previous experience in a distribution center environment helpful.
Must maintain flexibility regarding job assignments, including other departments, brands, locations, and mandatory overtime.
Meet productivity standards after successfully completing training.
Must be a team player and able to work well with others.
Typically reports to DC Supervisor, no direct reports.
