Acloche is hiring for a great company on the West Columbus area! Fire Truck company seeking a Shipping/Receiving associate in Hilliard.

JOB PURPOSE: Performs a variety of duties involved in receiving, storing, and shipping materials by loading, unloading, and verifying shipments as well as provide timely and accurate distribution of materials.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform shipping/receiving duties, such as loading and unloading trucks, prepare items for shipment, enter data and prepare labels. Duties will also include delivering and putting away parts, providing transportation for visitors and light housekeeping & maintenance duties:
Unload and load trucks
Receive and inspect incoming material for conformity to purchase order specifications and report shortages, damages, or other discrepancies.
Route and distribute incoming materials to individual buildings and departments on a prompt basis.
Organize and put away parts by placing them in appropriate bins.
Create bins and labels including part information when necessary.
Confer with appropriate personnel receipt of materials.
Keep accurate records of materials being shipped and received.
Prepare shipments by packing, protecting, and labeling.
Build crates and boxes for items being shipped.
Prepare shipping labels and necessary paperwork for shipments.
Verify identifying information and condition of items and materials being shipped.
Drive motor vehicle to pick up supplies and other items as well as provide transportation for visitors.
Make trips to other facilities as needed.
Maintain routine maintenance on company truck.
Maintain shipping and receiving materials by checking stock to determine inventory levels of supplies and needed materials.
Maintain building storage areas.
Remove snow from sidewalks and entrance ways using snow shovels and spread snow melting chemicals.
Proper care and daily display of the American and State of Ohio flags.
Maintain an accurate inventory by use of the ERP Systems.
Communicate with direct supervisor any issue(s) related to performing the duties of this position.
Comply with organizations specific policies and procedures and safety and health standards including housekeeping standards.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Utilize computers to enter/verify information - computer skills are necessary. Position requires MS Word, Outlook, Excel skills

Valid Driver License Required
Experience, Competencies and Education
High school diploma or GED
Forklift License
Language Skills
