Individuals will work a swing shift on both 1st and 2nd shift. Must be able to work 4 - 10 hour or 5 - 8 hour days including weekends and daily overtime as needed.
1st: 7am-3pm or 5am-3pm
2nd: 1pm 1am (hrs can vary from 1pm-11pm, 2pm-12am or 3pm-1am)
Associates will receive two $1 pay increases; one after 90 days and another at 180 days.
Description (job description attached to order):
Individuals will work on 2 separate lines handling fiberglass boards weighing 5 to 25 lbs and fiberglass ceiling tiles weighing about 2.4 lbs each.
In-Feed Core: Putting fiberglass boards onto a moving conveyor one at a time (one slide, one flip). Each employee rotates on/off this job in 30 minutes. Process 300 boards in 30 minutes (line speed at 100 fpm).
Slitting: Use cutting knife to cut facing (separate board to board).
Grading: Flip every other fiberglass ceiling tile (tiles are flipped over on to other tile) while inspecting tiles on a moving conveyor.
Stacking: A pair of ceiling tiles coming off the moving conveyor drop 3-12 inches to another stationery conveyor where they are stacked straight in a set of 8, 10, or 12 (depend on thickness). When the tile drops, the employee helps to straighten up the stack.
Sleaving: Slide the sleeve to cover outside one or two stacks of ceiling tiles then put it (we call bundle) into another moving conveyor.
Off-Loading: Carries stack of finished products from a stationary conveyor to a pallet then place onto lifting table which uses a motorized hydraulic. The weight of a stack of ceiling tiles are 16 to 60 pounds. Pushes finished product onto motorized conveyor that takes product to seal wrapper that uses heat as method of sealing.
In Feed Loader: Loading gravity fed accumulating conveyor with stacks of 2x2 fiberglass boards.
