Job Description
Maintenance Technician:
JOB SUMMARY:
The primary responsibility of the multi-craft maintenance technician is to preform preventative maintain and repair all production related equipment in order to meet expected production output levels. Candidates should have experience with managing parts inventory and ordering, troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems and tools. Candidates should have expert level experience with fork and scissor lifts and must maintain a clean safe work environment and adhere to safe work practices. Additional responsibilities include general building maintenance throughout the facility as needed.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
At least three years relative experience or training (preferred)
Five years maintenance facility experience (preferred)
Knowledge of basic construction, plumbing, carpentry & electrical
Knowledge with general mechanical and\or electrical principals
Licensed Forklift Operator (preferred)
Experience working with hand and power tools preferred
Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, drawings, schematics, specifications, codes and handbooks (preferred)
Ability to use various testing devises related to the mechanical trades
Some knowledge of computers
