Position Overview
Laser Operator is to produce quality metal fabricated parts to customer print specifications using allotted standard times and processes. Hands on training will be provided. Associates may not be trained to operate the machines at first, so they will assist in loading/unloading the equipment, material handling, quality checking, etc. Long sleeve work shirt will be provided.

All positions include handling metal products, standing, bending, crouching, pushing, pulling, etc. And lifting of up to 80 lbs. These physical requirements apply to all of the positions.

Shift (see Documents for schedule)
2A rotating 12 hour shifts: 7pm-7am
Week 1 - Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday.
Week 2 - Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & it will continue with this rotation.

Position Responsibilities
Operate and monitor programs on Laser.
Responsible for numerous machining techniques including grinding, sanding, etc.
Layout parts to meet blueprint specifications using calipers, gages, etc.
Making small, mathematically calculated, corrections.
Load and maneuver the part correctly with an overhead crane.
Understanding safety requirements in every area, and complying all safety regulations.

Position Requirements
Solid foundation in superior safety and quality practices.
1-2 years experience operating Laser Cutter
Ability to read blueprints
Basic understanding of CAD systems
Ability to utilize standard inspection tools to verify parts meet print specifications
Basic math skills to work in high pressure situations under deadlines

Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and carry up to 80 feet.
Must be able to remain standing for 7+ hours.
Must be able to frequently rise to stand and walk.
Reach with hands and arms.
Able to climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment (Hot/Cold)
The ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp/manipulate objects.

This crucial for your success in this role. Please notify Acloche of any time off or appointments at least one week in advance, otherwise multiple attendance issues may result in the termination of your assignment.

Dress:
Hi-vis vests will be provided, as will safety glasses and gloves. Team members are responsible for their own steel toed boots, and CAN NOT wear shorts, sweatpants, yoga pants, etc. Must be jeans/khaki's/dicki's free from holes and not excessively baggy.
