Asset and Forklift Administrator

Adminster supervision of the Forklift Program Company-wide of approximately 650 assets for a company with about 70 plants in the US and Canada. Great opportunity to grow with a company.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Lead and provide hands-on support the Company s Forklift program. Serves as a Co-administrator of the Company s program.
Routinely provides hands-on direction of repair approvals, parts sourcing, and research. Builds and maintains PM procedures while supporting various Work Order functions.
Builds FY Purchase plans and directs the purchase & allocation of assets. Supports the Company s Maintenance Program through auditing, training, and direction.
Directly support Managed Maintenance programs.
Supports our client s Safety program by partnering with locations to identify and select appropriate forklifts for work being performed
Consistently reviews and identifies ways to improve our forklift program to make it more efficient and drafts business cases for capital investments as needed.
Implement PM Programs & initiative relative to maintenance through CI
Continually identifies and sustains beneficial partnerships with forklift vendors to ensure our client has the most effective forklift programs.
Effectively negotiates Forklift contracts to our client s financial benefit
Routinely reviews forklift repair costs to troubleshoot consistent issues and identify solutions.
Prefer minimum 2-yr Associates Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Plastics Or Equivalent Work Experience
Read and write Fluently in Spanish and English
At least 5 years experience in a Maintenance Tech or Support role At least 5 years in a manufacturing environment
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Work safely in and around plant equipment
Work within the plant climate conditions
- Up to 50% Travel
