Job Description
Acloche is seeking a driven candidate looking for a great pay rate for Shipping work. This is for a great Company offering a position to start a career.
Shift - Monday through Friday, 7am - 330pm
Rate - Based on experience, starting at $18 per hour
Duties: Coordinate outgoing shipment activities for ESSENTIAL BUSINESSES. We supply durable, custom, precision manufactured metal products for Power, Medical, Technology and Telecommunication industries.
Required QUALIFICATIONS:
^ 3 years previous experience in shipping, logistics or other related field
^ Familiarity with computers and MRP software
^ Forklift Experience REQUIRED
^ Ability to handle physical workload
^ Ability to multitask and prioritize
^ Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
^ Strong organizational skills
^ Attention to detail
^ Organizational skills
RESPONSIBILITIES:
^ Verify and pack product to be shipped against orders
^ Maintain inventory in Made2Manage Software system
^ Prepare and stage shipments following pick-list/backorder
^ Arrange appropriate transportation of products
^ Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
^ OTJ + cross training provided
^ Will train and work in tandem with experienced and seasoned associates already on staff.
PREFERRED:
^ Minimal computer experience (Word/Excel, business software system).
^ Job Shop experience preferred.
EDUCATION:
High school or equivalent
