Sales Manager
Sunbury company in need of a Sales Manager.
Summary:
Manage the Sales Department function assigned by the company and assure the excellent customer service practice and highly profitable sales growth to meet the current and long-term goals for the company.
Supervise the activities of all personnel under their management.
Plan and perform the short and long-term goals of the Sales department.
Expand business with current customer bases established by the company.
Develop new customer bases assigned by the company to obtain new business.
Control the sales price of the products to maintain the highest profit level.
Control monthly and annual sales forecast report to the upper management.
Supervise assigned sales personnel to assure that they adhere to company policies and procedures to practices sales activities with high level of engineering knowledge.
Assist in resolving all conflicts between Sales Department and other Company departments.
Establish customer usage requirements and communicate to purchasing department.
Support the Senior Sales Manager.
Assess associates using performance evaluations.
Coordinate determination of customer requirements.
Report department monthly and annual results.
Education:
2-4 year degree with emphasis on mechanical engineering
2-4 year marketing or business degree
Experience:
5-7 years of sales management experience in fastener industry (Retail unacceptable)
Automobile or mechanical type product (OEM sales) such as (OEM) equipment.
Prefer OEM or larger wholesale
NOTE: OEM Original Equipment Manufacturer makes devises from components, parts bought from other organizations.
