Job Description

Marion company in need of 2 positions in the recycling center and 1 for the scrap yard.

The General Laborer provides materials and equipment necessary for team members to complete projects on time.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cleans and lubricates equipment, maintains a manufacturing area free from debris and dirt, and readies or puts away tools as required.

Follows directions to operate machinery, holds and supplies materials and tools, and loads and unloads items on machinery and assembly lines.

Assists with day-to-day operations and works closely with Shipping and Receiving, Machine Shop, and Assembly.

Utilizes forklifts to load and unload raw materials and finished parts.

Identifies damages and reports shortages or quality problems.

Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work environment using proper warehouse practices.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret verbal and written work instructions. Ability to read a tape measure. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to management and other employees and supervisors. Ability to interact clearly and effectively, in both written and oral communication, with supervisor, clients, staff, vendors, etc.

Mathematical Skills Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Other Qualifications - Valid driver s license is required; Dependable transportation, Ability to work a minimum of fifty hours on a weekly basis.

Hours1st shift: 8: 00 am - 4: 30 pm, Saturdays 8: 00 am - 12: 00
