Job Description
Direct Hire Opportunity Union Chemical Facility in Kenton- Product and Material Handlers.
Must be available for all shifts. If hired, you may start on day shift for training (7am-3pm) but then you will be moved to an afternoon shift (3pm-11pm) or night shift (11pm-7am). Must be available to work weekends as needed. Could bid for 1st shift in 3-6 months.
****Starting rate is $20.08 until trained and then it moves up to $22.31 upon completion. Wages increase to $27.88 once an employee has met their 5 year anniversary.
Again, the Starting pay is $20.08 hr. During training, which lasts about 2 weeks, once training is complete the pay will increase to $22.31. (About 2-3 weeks) all training is done on day shift. Anything over 8 hours is paid at time and a half.
Require employees to be clean shaven
After 90 days, you are required to join the union and are eligible to enroll in the company s benefits.
Details: Will be preforming intense labor, lifting 50lb bags and stacking on pallets. Will be mixing batches and pulling ingredients together to make resin- resins which has high heat resistance, water resistance, chemical resistance, high strength and other functionality.
Not a good fit for anyone with asthma or breathing problems Chemical/Product Fumes in the air.
Must be able to pass a fit to work physical (you will be sent to do physical and DS at Lima hospital)
In addition, you will be fitted for a respirator - respirators are used in some departments, not all. MUST BE CLEAN SHAVEN! High School Diploma / GED required.
Shift hours are: 1st shift 7a-3p, 2nd shift 3p-11p 3rd 11p-7a (3rd is Sun-Thurs) working weekends for OT- some shifts are working 12 hours. Time and half is paid after 8 hours.
Uniforms and PPE will be provided- you must provide steel toe boots. Dress for the season- this facility is not climate controlled.
Open Interviews are conducted Tues 1p-3p and Thursdays 10a-Noon. Just schedule interview and email Jesse the Bio and interview date and time confirmation. Anything outside the Tues/Thurs Open interview, ask Jesse her availability to interview.
INTERVIEW DETAILS: The plant is located at 13717 US Highway 68 Kenton, OH. Please park in the parking lot at Gate 1. You will then go up to the turnstiles and there will be an intercom just push that and when someone answers, let them know you have an interview with Randy or Jesse.
